تادیچ در دور اول انتخابات ریاست جمهوری در 17 اردیبهشت ماه 25.31 درصد و نیكولیچ 25.05 درصد آرای مردم را كسب كرده بودند.
بر پایه اطلاعیه كمیسیون انتخابات، در دور دوم انتخابات ریاست جمهوری صربستان كه روز یكشنبه در سراسر این كشور برگزار شد، شهروندان واجد شرایط با رای دادن در حوزه های رای گیری در داخل و خارج از كشور ششمین رییس جمهوری خود را از زمان برقراری سیستم چند حزبی در این كشور در سال 1990 میلادی انتخاب كردند.

تومیسلاو نیكولیچ چهار بار نامزد انتخابات ریاست جمهوری شده بود.
